Finally figured out how to work my network!

Hey all! So, as a 24 yr old I play games on occasion. I'm not on them all the time, because that would leave no time for the lovely women in my life. Anyways, onto what I just figured out.

This is how I figured out how to get my XBOX working so I can join my friends lobbies and play with them. Many of you probably have heard of port forwarding and probably have tried it. I would be one of you. If you haven't here's a link to how to do it. XBOX 360 port forwarding It is a comprehensive guide.

Essentially the part you should take from it is that if you DMZ your XBOX 360 you are opening up your XBOX to everyone in the world. But I dare you to find someone who will hack your xbox. If you are still worried about it, then just set your XBOX 360 to your DMZ when you are using it and take it off when you are done.

Now, here's a short guide to how to set your XBOX 360 to DMZ.

  1. Go into the dashboard and find your internet settings. It should give you information on your connection. From this point find your IP Address that your XBOX 360 has. Write it down!
  2. Now go to a computer that is hooked up to the same router. Go into the network software usually all you have to do is type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar above and it will send you there. At this point most of you will be stopped by a user name and password prompt. Enter your user name and password, for those of you who have not been into your router network software before it will be the default user name and password in your manual.
  3. Go into your router network settings and it should give you the option for DMZ. Add the DMZ to the IP Address of your XBOX 360. Ok, so this is the part that most people will get frustrated over. If you have this network set up to a modem you DO NOT stop there. You now need to set up the DMZ for your network. Before you leave your router software you need to find out the IP Address of your router. To do this you need to find the status option in your router software.
  4. Once you find the IP Address of your router you can now exit out and go into your modem software. This may be different for most of you. I believe most will also be 192.168.1.1 but it could also be 192.168.0.1. If it is neither of those look into your manual or google it.
  5. Once you are in your modem software you will not have to find the DMZ option again, but instead of putting the IP Address of your XBOX 360 in there put the IP Address of your router.
This should get it working, if it doesn't leave a comment and I will try to help.

Girls

So I know many of my posts have been pretty negative when it comes to women. But, now a days I'm just not sure what to do with them. At this moment there are 3 girls. I'll go through the list of girls.

Girl #1: She seems to be crazy about me. Although, I know things won't work out. She wants to stay in "this" state. I'm obviously not going to choose to stay here if I have the option to go somewhere else, especially Notre Dame, Northwestern or UC Berkely Law Schools.

Now to explain the situation. She constantly calls me and texts me. And when we do hang out she is pretty much attached to me. And at the risk of sounding shallow she is "ok" looking.

Girl #2: She is 31 years old. Ok, so I am not worried so much about the age. And she's well pretty good looking. I'd love to see her with long hair but even with the short hair she is still pretty beautiful. Oh, I also need to mention that she's also going to law school. I'm not sure where though.

But the biggest thing I'm worried about is I don't know how to deal with an older girl.

Girl #3: She's one of my high school friend's younger sister. Also pretty cute, but I haven't gone on a date with her yet. I asked her out but didn't give her a day yet. She said yes. So I got 1 foot in that door. We'll see where this goes.

This is getting complicated. Tomorrow I have a date with girl #2 and well I think girl #1 wants to do something this weekend too. But I also planned to go out with the guys this weekend.

We'll see what I do with this situation. I'll keep you guys updated =)

It's been awhile

So I know I haven't been on and posting in awhile. Things have gotten a bit crazy for the past 6 months. I was in NY for 2 months and I spent 3 months studying for the LSAT exam, for those of you who don't know what that is. It's the entrance exam for law school. It goes to say that I got a pretty good score. I scored in the top 10% of the people who took the exam.

Anyways, I'm sure you guys don't want to hear about that. Since I finished my exam in December I've been working at the family business. When I went in I was surprised to find out that the place was not only all a mess but the sales have gone down since I had left 6 months ago. I'm usually a nice boss but, when I step in and see crap like what I saw happening I have to be a dick. It isn't more or less being a dick but telling my employees their job is on the line and if they don't start doing the stuff that I hired them to do I will find someone else. This is pretty much the same work crew that I had hired before I left, if any of you are wondering.

Ok, so on to some more interesting stuff. I met a girl. The only thing is that she's 31. Now that's a 7 year age difference and she's older...I'm not really concerned about the age difference, I'm more worried about how to work things with a girl that's older than me. Any suggestions? For those who just seemingly pass by. Well, I have a date with her tonight so we will see what happens.

Oh right I forgot, there is another girl. Things with her will obviously not work out. First of all, she wants to stay in AZ. Personally I want to get the hell out of here. Things here are pretty messed up. Like the government state debt is ridiculous all left by the "Great" Janet Napolitano. "Great" my ass! She took funding away from things like a school dedicated to helping homeless children, to put towards her own personal projects. That's just the start. Then there's this 10-70 legislation, which put a ton of pressure on the illegal immigrant population here in AZ. This cause a massive "GTFO!" (Get The Fuck Out) response. Oh, this did wonders for our already crapped on economy. I've seen my family's business doing over 1 million in yearly sales to a little over half. I think if the people of AZ had a real problem with the current illegal immigrant community we should of done something else. Amnesty or something else. I think this was a ploy by politicians, including Sheriff Joe Arpaio, to further his radical idealism.

So what can I do to change the course of states like AZ? I can become an attorney and do something about it. It's been far too long since there has been someone in politics who doesn't warp the reality the public sees and tells us how things are. Someone who uses logic and understanding, but most of all cares about his fellow human being no matter the country of origin.

Sorry guys I kind of went off on a politics spree. I'd like to hear about some of the things you want me to talk about. Anyways, later for now.
